i currently have a dell dimension something with pentium 4 processor. im computer illeterate. would i be able to keep the shell and justchange the memory and stuff by replacing the inside computer stuff? what should i get? i heard pentium 4 is bad for music and downloading things. and i want a way fast comp for under 300-500 i guess if its possible. ive been told to get an intell dual core

I’ve had a Virgin Mobile phone since 2005 August,that was my first phone,it costed 50 dollars,now its getting cheaper and cheaper. I want a V-Cast Phone,i saw them for 50 dollars also(decent price). My mom will buy me me one. I heard u can watch videos,stream music and download it. I also heard u can surf the internet,check email and ect. Wich one is the best to get if iwant all that. Many of these popular ipods and such seem to require subscription services, fees and prepacked music and downloading, none of which interest me for using a portable mp3 player. I want a small and durable mp3 player that i can simply copy mp3s that i have created and have on my computer to the portable mp3 player and listen to while excercising, working, riding, etc.. Need a decent sized storage, at least 1.5 GB. And ability to arrange the play pattern of mp3 files. As an actor, i record monoglouges and scene scripts in audio portions, and need the ability to save them to a portable mp3 player that i can use to rehearse and memorize scripts through repeated listening, pausing at certain points, etc. As well as music playback. NO subscription or downloading based players, just straight mp3 players, with voice recording option would be nice. And affordable. Any suggestions?
you may think that I sound really shallow saying this, but I’m actually not…does anyone know how to beat the horrible feeling that someone like your friend is copying you…? it’s just as if he is stealing my style; he listens to rock music and downloads some of the songs that i show him and i think he uses them to show his friends even though he doesn’t really like the band, he also becomes obsessed with every tv programme i watch, when i watched south park, he started watching it, when i watched family guy, mighty boosh, etc etc even though he said he didn’t really like them. I really wish this didn’t bother me so much. I’ve even hidden my love of anime and manga from him for myself just in case he starts stealing that off me, too…Maybe I should just grow up…
Ok, so there’s something wrong with my laptop and it’s going off for repair tomorrow. The thing I need to know is, is there still anything on it like music and downloads etc, even if I’ve done a system recovery and put it back to it’s factory settings? Also, do the people repairing my laptop have the right to look at my private documents etc?

I’m thinking about getting the Verizon Motokrzr but I’m confused about the music downloads. Can you load music of the CPU that you already have or do you have to use the VCast music and download all of your songs from that. Thanx!
Here’s a scenerio;
Im sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus and a car drives by. I can hear a song that I like that I havent heard in a while. I pull out my cell phone which plays MP3’s, I go to my subscription music service (like Rhapsody, NOT itunes where you have to buy the music), and download the song right there and play it. Which phone would I be using to have this kind of functionality?
I wanted to know because I’m going to buy a notebook and use it mainly for editing music, and downloading music? Also for other things but mainly music, and Internet.
